Sandpoint, PF girls battle to 2-2 tie

POST FALLS — The Bulldogs had a 2-1 lead before the Trojans battle back to even the score in a season-opening draw Friday.

Post Falls freshman Alexis Smith scored goals in the 20th and 60th minutes for the Trojans.

Hannah Griesmier scored a goal for the Bulldogs in the 15th minute for Sandpoint High School.

Hannah Slinkard had nine saves for Post Falls, who travel to Lakeland on Wednesday.
