Winter Ridge announces contest winner

Sandpoint resident Amy Hanson is the winner of Winter Ridge Natural Foods Market’s contest for a new tagline.
Hanson’s entry — “shop outside the box” — was selected from the dozens of entries received during July. She is the recipient of a $100 shopping spree at the store.
“It was exciting to win,” Hanson said of her success. “It was a fun exercise. We just sat around the table and threw out ideas as a family.”
The new tagline will appear on Winter Ridge’s advertisements, flyers and other promotional material in the same way as do other companies’ well-known taglines such as, “when it absolutely, positively has to be there overnight” and “when it rains, it pours.”
Hanson says she has shopped at Winter Ridge “since the day the doors opened.” She is an enthusiastic fan of the local natural foods market.
“It’s nice to have a place with fresh produce and other good food as well as great people working there without having to shop the huge box stores,” she said when asked why she patronizes Winter Ridge.
Winter Ridge Natural Foods Market is a full-service natural food store featuring organic produce, an in-house made-from-scratch deli, local free-range meat, and a diverse selection of supplements. The store is located at at the corner of Boyer and Lake in Sandpoint.
