Crews, residents - East Hope officials want to offer kudos to Ace Septic, Leak Masters, Andy McChesnie, Bob Wathen and Sam Owen Fire Station, Holiday Shores, Bob Howard of Emergency Management and our residents for all their help and quick actions over the Fourth of July weekend. The city experienced a major water leak that left the town without water and without their help this could have been much worse. It is great to know we live in such a great community where everyone is willing to help out in times of need. Thanks a million!

Locks of Love contributors - Kudos to the people who donated their hair to Locks of Love at Jacey’s Race. Your generosity is inspiring.

22.August

Jen Plummer - Kudos and many thanks to Jen Plummer, a local musician who provided an Irish musical experience for students at Head Start this year. The variety of vocal styles and the diverse musical instruments introduced created a rich, multicultural experience. She was gracious and allowed students a “hands-on” sensory event. Ms. Plummer struck a high note with the preschoolers and the Head Start staff.

28.August

Steven Anderson dental office staff - Dental health provided by staff from Steven Anderson’s DDS office took a creative twist with Head Start preschoolers. They used props and engaged students to emphasize dental health principles and techniques. Students actively participated. No one will ever forget the flossing method that was introduced. Thank you for providing such a valuable service and making dental hygiene fun.

Two men who changed tire - Kudos to the two men who came to my rescue and changed my flat tire for me near Babe’s One Stop. Your kindness is much appreciated!
