COEUR d’ALENE — Sophomore Dimi Kailang scored 14 points, none bigger than the two free throws she made with 12 seconds left to help lead Clark Fork to a 39-36 win over 2A Coeur d’Alene Charter in nonleague girls basketball action Thursday night at Holy Family Catholic School.
Junior post Brocklynn Thornton scored a game-high17 points to lead the Wampus Cats (2-1), who held the Panthers to just one point in a stingy third quarter before holding off a comeback down the stretch.
