Steven James Hosier, 64

Steven James Hosier, 64, of Sandpoint, Idaho, died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, at his home.

He was born Sept. 11, 1946, in Seattle, Wash., the son of Verl and Shirley Hosier. He was raised and attended schools in Burien, Wash.

Steven joined the U.S. Army in 1965 where he served in Vietnam. He was discharged in 1967. Following his military service, he went to work for Ma Bell Telephone Company, where he worked for 25 years.

Steven married Delores Guzman and they have been together for 25 years. Following his retirement in 2003, he and Delores moved to Sand-point where he has since resided.

Steven enjoyed woodworking, and, in fact, had a side business with Ray Mortenson constructing storage sheds.

He is survived by his wife ,Delores of Sandpoint; a sister, Sheila Coley of Antioch, Calif.; and by two nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be conducted 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at Coffelt Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Jon Pomeroy of the Sandpoint Church of God officiating.
