| December 7, 2010 6:00 AM

The Bulldogs claimed a 56-37 victory against rival Bonners Ferry when the boys basketball teams hit the hardwood Monday.

Senior Blaine Shultz scored the first five points of the game on a thre-pointer and a George Gervin-esque finger roll, to help the Bulldogs build a 26-16 first half lead over the Badgers in nonleague boys basketball action Monday night at Les Rogers Court.

Cole Fuhrman, Eric Nikssarian and Christian Kennedy also added three-pointers for the Bulldogs in the first half.

The Bulldog girls host Lakeland tonight in a key 4A North battle, with tipoff at 7 p.m. at Les Rogers Court.
