Wampus Cats fall to Knights

PLUMMER — Lakeside had the fast break in full gear, running past Clark Fork 79-50 in North Star League boys basketball action in Plummer.

Nate Nesbitt had a season-high 16 points to go with three steals to lead the Wampus Cats (1-3, 0-1 NSL), Stillman Berkley added 10 points and six boards, and D.J. Jackson tallied seven points, five assists and three steals in defeat.

“They just outran us, to put it in a nut shell,” said Cats coach Corey Vogel. “We didn’t play too bad, we just didn’t get back and they beat us on the fast break.”

Clark Fork hosts the Priest River JV on Jan. 4.
