'Tots' drive contributions continue

SANDPOINT — The Sandpoint Toys for Tots fund drive is edging closer to its goal with less than a week left before Christmas.

If you want to help out the Toys for Tots drive and don’t want to cook today, the Hoot Owl spaghetti feed is from 4 to 8 p.m. at the restaurant.

All proceeds benefit Toys for Tots.

Today’s contributions total $2,655.47, bringing the overall total to $35,493.38.

Contributions today come from:

Panhandle State Bank, coin collection jar, $14.66; anonymous, $20; anonymous, $25; Douglas and Mindi Bradetich, $50, and a note saying,” Thank you Lions Club for all you do for our children and community;”

Marilyn Dalby, $50; Jonathan and Joanne Cottree, $75; Darrell and Ellena Brown, $100; Frederick and Sally Park, $100;

Dan and Cindy Blood, $100; Bill Klein, $105.81; Mark and Marjorie Stevens, $140, “in memory of Frederick L. Yanik Sr., from the Stevens family;” Barbara Botsch, $200;

Sharon’s Hallmark, $250; Co-Op Country Stores employees, $425; Salmon J. Pusey, “in memory of my wife Darleen,” $500; and John and Mary Joe Snedden, $500.

Contributions can be dropped off at the Bonner County Daily Bee office, 310 Church St., or mailed to the Bee, P.O. 159, Sandpoint, ID., 83864, or any of Panhandle State Bank’s branches in Sandpoint or Ponderay.
