FOOTBALL
• Will Andrews — Montana State University Northern, Jr., DE, 6-1, 235 pounds. Made 69 tackles, 16 tackles for loss and four sacks as a junior last season for the Northern Lights (3-7), earning 2010 All-Frontier Conference first team honors.
• A.J. Smith, — University of Montana Western, Fr., TE, 6-2, 200 pounds. Played in three games for the Bulldogs (1-10) last season, registering one catch.
• Jake Semones — Yale, Fr., Quarterback, 6-1, 150 pounds. Will vie for future playing time at quarterback after playing one season at Loomis Chaffey prep school in 2009. Father Doug Semones is assistant head coach and linebackers coach for the Eli (7-3).
• Daniel Charvoz — Whitworth, Fr., Quarterback, 6-0, 170 pounds. Did not play for Pirates (5-5) in 2010 season.
• Erik Stoll — University of Montana, Sr., Safety, 6-2, 205 pounds. Started all 11 games for the Grizzlies (7-4) in 2010, finishing third on the team with 82 tackles and nabbing a team-high five interceptions. Also named to a national Academic All-American team.
• Kurt Stoll — University of Montana — Not on official roster, but practiced with team in 2010.
• Cody Hecker — Eastern Washington University. Not on official 2010 roster, but currently on the team.
• Mat Lawrence — Eastern Washington University. Not on official roster, missed 2010 as a medical red shirt.
SOCCER
• Alex Crossingham — Northwest Christian, Jr., Defender, 5-8, 175 pounds. Started 17 games for the Beacons (7-10-1) in 2010, earning All-Cascade Conference first team honors for anchoring the defense, and also scored a goal and had an assist.
• Adam Crossingham — Yavapai College, Fr., Defender, 5-10, 165 pounds. Started and played every minute of the 2010 season at defensive mid, scoring two goals for the Roughriders (16-4), earning a full ride scholarship in the process.
• Ben Murray — Occidental College, So., Forward, 6-0, 160 pounds. Led his team with seven goals on the 2010 season, and tallied one assist. Named Offensive MVP on the Tigers (6-10-2) as a sophomore.
• Daniel Anderson — Cal State Stanislaus, Fr., Midfielder, 5-11. Played in five games in 2010 for the Warriors (10-5-3), logging 133 minutes and dishing out an assist before breaking his arm while playing basketball. Plans to transfer to Concordia University next season.
• Tanner French — Concordia University, So., Defender, 5-10, 160 pounds. Hurt back in freshman season at Oregon State. Recently signed a letter of intent to play for the Cavaliers (16-3-1), alongside former SHS teammates Tanner Williams and Daniel Anderson.
• Zac Linscott — Whitworth, Fr., Midfield, 5-10, 138 pounds. Did not see any varsity action as a freshman during 2010 season.
• Anders Nostdahl — Whitworth, Fr., Defender/Midfield, 5-6, 139 pounds. Played in two games for the Pirates (10-6-2) as a freshman in 2010.
• Shawn Carlson — Whitworth, Fr., Goalkeeper, 5-10, 175 pounds. Did not see any varsity action in 2010.
• Alicia Mertz — Sonoma State University, Fr., Defender, 5-7. Played in 12 games in 2010 season, logging 266 minutes for the Seawolves (4-9-4).
BASKETBALL
• Ben Mitchell — Montana State Northern, Jr., Forward, 6-4. Has played in all 11 games this season for the Northern Lights (7-4), scoring 38 points, including a season-high of 11 in one game.
• Stefan Buratto — Carroll College, Fr., Guard, 6-3. High scoring guard is red-shirting during the current season for the Fighting Saints (7-3).
• Chris Hepperly — Grossmont College, Fr., Guard, 5-10. Recently dropped in 24 points on 8-11 shooting to lead the Griffins, earning him honorable mention Athlete of the Week in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference.
• Brian Tollbom — Vancouver Island University, Jr., Forward, 6-7. Played in one game during the current season before breaking his hand. Nearly set to rejoin the Mariners for the remainder of the season.
VOLLEYBALL
• Savanna Lester — Montana Tech, Sr., Defensive Specialist, 5-5. Played in 97 games in 2010 senior campaign, and was second on the Orediggers (14-14) with 27 receptions while leading the defense from the back row.
• Koko James — University of Montana, Fr., Setter, 5-10. Started all 28 games during the 2010 season, leading the Griz (13-15) with 1,011 assists, good for second overall in the Big Sky Conference, to go with 48 kills and 14 aces.
• Piper Wahlin — Weber State University, Fr., Outside hitter, 5-9. Was fourth on the Wildcats (4-27) in total points during the 2010 season, registering 142 kills, 92 digs, 13 set assists and 12 aces.
BASEBALL
• Tyler Lichty — Lewis and Clark, Jr., Pitcher (R), 6-2, 210 pounds. Went 4-1, with a 3.88 ERA and 42 strikeouts in 58 innings, including 10 starts during the 2010 season for the Warriors (48-5).
• Zac Manor — Concordia University, Jr., Pitcher (L), 6-5, 235 pounds. Went 2-2 with three saves and a 3.03 ERA in 19 appearances during the 2010 campaign for the Cavaliers (10-34).
CROSS COUNTRY
• Brittany Clawson — University of Hawaii, Fr., 5-5. Competed in one meet, posting a 4K time of 19:09.54, which placed her 38th overall. Placed second in 2009 Xterra Nationals and Xterra Worlds as an off-road triathlete. Xterra regional champion in 2009 and ’10. Named a 2009 off-road triathlete All-American.
• Tony Charvoz — University of Puget Sound, So., 6-3. Clocked a 33:07 to finish 35 at the St. Martin Invitational, his top finish of the season.
SOFTBALL
• Rachel Hammack — Saint Maries, Fr., Infielder, 5-7. Versatile player will help the Gaels (30-21) improve when the 2011 season starts, her first at the collegiate level.
SWIMMING
• Paulina Gralow — University of Wisconsin, So., Breaststroke, 5-7. Currently enjoying a solid sophomore season with the Badgers, finishing 4th in the 100 and 5th in the 200 breaststrokes at the Iowa dual, and swimming a personal best 1:03.88 in the 100 breast at the recent Texas Invitational.
GOLF
• Ashley Burke — North Idaho College, So. Led the Cardinals with a 161 (82/79) in a tri-meet with Columbia Basin and Central Washington in her final season on the NIC golf team.
CYCLING
• Emma Millar — Fort Lewis College. Finished first among the women to claim championships in two races at the 2009 USA Cycling Collegiate Mountain Bike National Championships, leading a Skyhawk cycling team that has claimed 13 national team titles.
