Add your 2011 sticker in your window today

Several weeks ago, each Bonner County property owner received two vehicle window stickers that identify them as being eligible to use our county’s waste disposal sites.

Just as in years past, effective this January the site attendants are required to check every vehicle at the entrance to ensure that those intending to dump their trash and recyclable materials are authorized to do so. Checking for these stickers is part of their job.

It is everyone’s responsibility to affix the sticker to the inside of the windshield. There is no grace period and “I left it at home and I’ll have it next time” won’t fly. You will be turned away. Just because we’ve been going to the same site for 15 years and the attendants all know us, doesn’t justify any of us getting a pass because we didn’t remember to put the sticker on the glass. 

Please make it easier on the attendants, and on the guy behind you waiting to get in, and put your 2011 sticker in your window today.
