What do country's Republicans believe?

Last month, the Daily Kos, a left-wing Web site, hired Research 2000, a non-partisan independent pollster, to ask more than 2,000 Republicans a long list of questions about what they believe. Here are just a few results. The margin of error is 2 percent.

Should Barack Obama be impeached, or not? Yes or not sure: 68 percent

Do you think Barack Obama is a socialist? Yes or not sure: 79 percent

Do you believe Barack Obama wants the terrorists to win? Yes or not sure: 57 percent

Do you believe Sarah Palin is more qualified to be President than Barack Obama? Yes or not sure: 86 percent

Do you believe Barack Obama is a racist who hates white people? Yes or not sure: 64 percent

Do you believe your state should secede from the United States? Yes or not sure: 42 percent

Should public school students be taught that the book of Genesis in the Bible explains how God created the world? Yes or not sure: 85 percent

Do you believe that the only way for an individual to go to heaven is though Jesus Christ, or can one make it to heaven through another faith? Christ or not sure: 85 percent

Do you consider abortion to be murder? Yes or not sure: 92 percent

Do you support the death penalty? Yes or not sure: 96 percent

Now, do I believe that these Republicans are uninformed, uneducated, unfair, undiscerning, unpatriotic hypocrites? Yes or quite sure: 100 percent.
