Prognosticate now or forever hold your peace

SANDPOINT — Attention armchair coaches, Monday morning quarterbacks, football fanatics and anyone else interested in winning $50 cash: The deadline to enter the Daily Bee Super Bowl Challenge is tonight, at 6 p.m.

After nearly two weeks of hype, most people have formulated an opinion of who will win Sunday between the Colts and the Saints.

Will the long-suffering Saints fans finally be rewarded with a Vince Lombardi Trophy, giving a city that was under the waters of Hurricane Katrina just four years ago something to celebrate?

Or will Peyton Manning and his wealth of talented receivers simply be too much for the Saints, as he looks to take down the team he grew up rooting for?

Who will win an envelope filled with $50 in cash?

Those questions, and many more, will be answered by Sunday evening.

To enter the free challenge, simply e-mail your name, the winning team, the final score, and a choice for Most Valuable Player to “eplummer@bonnercountydailybee.com” by 6 p.m. tonight.

On Sunday, the Daily Bee will print out a list of all the entrants, for fans to follow along with during the game.
