Jean Louise Thomas

Jean Louise Thomas passed away on Jan. 31, 2010. She was born in Sandusky, Ohio, on July 4, 1923.

She married Michael Thomas in 1943.  Jean worked for the federal government in Ohio as a secretary. In 1950 they moved to Long Beach, Calif., and purchased a motel. Upon selling the motel, Jean returned to civil service. 

After retiring she moved to San Diego, Califor-nia to take care of her mother and be close to her sister.

In 2003 Jean moved to Sandpoint, Idaho to be near her niece and family.

Jean loved animals and left behind her beloved cat, Mitzy.

She enjoyed reading, shopping, boating, and gathering with her family.  She had a great memory and enjoyed talking about her past. Her family enjoyed her dry wit.

Jean is survived by her niece, Debby (Rick) Price of Sandpoint, Idaho; and her nephew, David (Chris) Billings of Phoenix, Ariz.
