CFHS girls heading to state
CLARK FORK — Brocklynn Thornton scored 20 points and grabbed 14 rebounds, Shaina Gustafson added 13 points and six assists and Clark Fork defeated Mullan 64-43 in the District 1 1A Division 2 title game to advance to the state tournament.
“The girls have worked hard all year and I’m really proud of the whole team,” Clark Fork coach Dexter Vogel said.
“They do a great job for us and I’m really happy. Now we can go down to state, win three and come back even happier.”
Celeste Komanec scored 11 points, freshman Tess Vogel seven points, nine rebounds for Clark Fork (16-5).
Morgan Koenig scored 12 points for Mullan, which finishes the season 7-12.
