Lewiston defeats Bulldogs

LEWISTON — Lewiston poured on the offense in the second half Friday to pull away from the Sandpoint and notch a 51-36 win over the Bulldogs.

Sandpoint (6-14) hosts Lakeland at the district tournament on Tuesday.

“We missed quite a few looks,” Sandpoint Coach Tyler Haynes said.

Lewiston made 18 free throws, compared to Sandpoint’s two.

Blaine Shultz led the Bulldogs with 13 points and teammate Stefan Buratto finished with 10.
