Keller Williams Realty opens Sandpoint office

SANDPOINT — Keller Williams Realty Coeur d’Alene celebrated the opening of a Sandpoint branch office last week.

The office at 212 First Street has 12 agents and handles all types of real estate transactions, Terry Gurno, team leader at Keller Williams Realty Coeur d’Alene said.

The company decided to open the Sandpoint office because agents in Coeur d’Alene began selling more homes in Bonner County. Real estate veteran Peggy Sawicki is the designated broker at Keller Williams Realty Sandpoint and the company hopes to have 30 to 40 agents working out of the office in the future.

Since opening in 2004 Keller Williams Realty Coeur d’Alene, with its 92 agents, has grown to a fourth-place ranking among Coeur d’Alene real estate offices in market share.

Both offices are owned and operated by the same investment group comprised of Realtors Marie Pickford, T.J. Barnhart, Michael Threadgill and Dennis and Pam Ranch.
