Joyce Lee (Hoffine) Campbell, 68

Joyce Lee (Hoffine) Campbell, 68, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009, in Sagle, Idaho.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Sandpoint with Pastor Chuck Wigton officiating.

Joyce was born on June 27, 1941, in Sandpoint, Idaho, to Leon and Luella Hoffine. She grew up in Sandpoint, graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1959, and attended two years of Sandpoint Beauty School class of ‘61. 

She began her hairdressing career at The Vogue Salon, was best known for her years at the Hair Hut, and most recently was working at Hair Tenders. During her 40-plus years of hairdressing, she acquired numerous friends and many stories.

Joyce married Art Webb in 1969 in Sandpoint.  She later married Lloyd Campbell, her soul mate, in 1980.

She was a member of Aerie No. 589 Fraternal Order of Eagles.  She enjoyed bowling, crossword puzzles, reading, fishing, hunting and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Joyce is survived by her three children, Jim (Val)Webb of Sagle, Kim (Bob) Carstensen of Boise, and Vicki Webb and Matt Lowell of Hayden; four grandchildren, Codi James, Shawnee Marie, Alex, and Morgan Jo; a sister, Helen Aitken of Tucson; two brothers, Steve (Ethel) Hoffin, Sr. of Laramie, Wyo., and Denny (Marilyn) Hoffine of Dallas, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lloyd Campbell, and one brother Lavelle Hoffine.
