Let's give Palin the privacy she wants

| January 4, 2010 8:00 PM

Those who are outraged by the Palin book tour protestors, and complain about their use of freedom of speech give us an interesting perspective. Perhaps freedom of speech is overrated, and perhaps we who have differing views from the extreme right should realize that all Sarah Palin wants is to be left alone.

Obviously that’s why she has stayed in seclusion up in Wasilla after being run out of office by the left wing liberal media. If the biased media hadn’t talked to her, she wouldn’t have been able to speak in her own words and the public would have only heard written, rehearsed speeches, and her popular zingers. But no, she was put on the spot by tough questions like “what she thinks, or reads.” Thereby causing McCain to throw the election and forcing Palin to blame and attack her own campaign and party so she could get the record straight.

Going to rallies, speaking engagements, and talking politics in every venue that will give her voice doesn’t have anything to do with politics, she is just a hockey mom wanting to make a difference. I’m sure she’s still keeping an eye on Russia for us.

Heck, she apparently hasn’t even sold enough books to buy a new hat, and had to use a Sharpie to scratch out the war hero McCain’s name just to go to Hawaii for some privacy. We should all just leave her alone and let her be pretty, while she fixes “everything.”
