Moose Madness hits Sandpoint

The second Moose Madness spirit games against Bonners Ferry will take place Saturday.

The girls tip off at 6 p.m. at the old Sandpoint Middle School gym, with the boys game to follow at 7:30.

Bulldog fans be sure to wear your red and white, as boasting school colors is one of a handful of criteria judges will use to determine the night’s winner.

Each school’s band will share a stage and battle, as will the cheerleaders, dance team and fans, all of it factoring into who wins the trophy. The Badgers won the first event last year on their home turf, and the Bulldogs will be looking to take the trophy.

Tickets can be purchased for $5 at SHS today, and if any remain, will be available at 5 p.m. on Saturday.

All proceeds will benefit each counties local food bank.
