Dog owners are slacking

As I was running with my dog “Muddy” on the bike path today, visions of taking him to a park kept creeping into my head. But sadly, the view of dog poop piles kept jumping out at me from the bike path.

No wonder the proponents of “dog free” parks are so popular … if dog owners can’t pick up their canines poop when there are baggies and trash cans available on the bike path, then how will they do it in a park?

I’m shouting out to all of you dog owners — pick up your dog’s poop! And if you are human, like me, and forget a bag every once in awhile and Fido squats, pick up some extra next time.
