Bulldog boys fall to Hawks in 4A Inland Empire League showdown

RATHDRUM — Stefan Buratto scored a game-high 22 points to lead Sandpoint, but a tough second half proved costly as the Bulldogs fell 60-51 to Lakeland Tuesday night in 4A North League action at Lakeland High School.

Brandon Lawrence, Skyler Tucker and Cole Fuhrman each added eight, but the Bulldogs (3-7, 0-2 4A IEL) were outscored 33-19 in the second half after building a five point halftime lead.

Joel Underdahl scored 21 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Lakeland (8-6).

Sandpoint hosts Lewiston on Saturday.
