Palin's abilities behind views on VP candidate

It never ceases to amaze me how people can boil down incredibly complex ideas and opinions and then place their simplistic ideas on those they don’t care for: kind of like this missive.

I so hoped Bush (either one) would pull our country together behind common causes and ideals. I had similar hopes with Obama. We like and dislike for so many reasons. Those reasons can be very complex, and/or very simple.

For instance, I am pro-life, but can’t understand those that give nothing to any organization that supports young single mothers other than pro-life rhetoric. I was reared Christian, and certainly, with the exception of my old army and air force buddies, am not part of any good-old-boy network.

Yep, I don’t care for Sarah, not because of the above listed reasons, but because of her obvious lack of knowledge of incredibly basic world happenings, countries, geography, and a simple deficit in the grasp of things.

Yep, I want my leaders to be good at that stuff. GW had the most educated staff and cabinet in our nation’s history, so, they had my respect. Historically most Americans don’t care for the cerebral. Adlai Stevenson was such an intellectual. Ran for president three times. Guess we like the low-brow, but not my favorite. So, thanks for putting your reasons on me, just thought I would clarify. By the way, think she will be a good TV personality, or maybe a weather girl.
