Tito was born on July 5, 1950, in Uniontown, Pa, the son of Mario and RemaTiberi. He grew up in Uniontown with his siblings, where they worked and owned a family bar called Mario’s.

Tito graduated from Penn State University with a master’s degree in counseling.

Tito married Patty Vajda in June 1983. They lived and worked in Europe for the U.S. Army for two years before returning to Pat’s old neighborhood and raising their family.

In 1994, they moved to North Idaho, where Tito worked as a drug and alcohol counselor for the Sandpoint School District. In 1997 Tito opened Handyman Services in Sandpoint, which grew to be a thriving moving and handyman company around town. Everyone knew Tito as “the handyman.”

He was a member of the Business Network International group, as well as the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce. Tito enjoyed spending time with his colleagues at work, as well as volunteering countless hours to drug and alcohol programs in the community.

Tito loved to bike more than anything, whether it was summer or winter you could catch him riding down the streets to work, or sitting on the stationary at Sand-point West Athletic Club.

Tito also loved to participate in his children’s lives, especially any opportunity he had to embarrass them. Whether it was cooking food for all of Michael’s friends, for which he gained the nickname “Papa Tito,” or indulging at many of Sandpoint’s restaurants with his daughter Anne Marie, Tito was a face everyone

recognized in the community.

Tito had an overwhelming love for hischildren fore whom he wanted nothing but the best.  Although he will not see them continue to grow, he has witnessed the beautiful, young woman and man they are now, and knows that they will continue to grow and stay true to God.

Tito is survived by his daughter, Anne Marie Tiberi, 24, of Hershey, Pa.; and his son Michael J. Tiberi, 20, of San Diego, Calif. He is also survived by his mother, Rema Tiberi; brothers, Geno and Bernie Tiberi; and sisters, Mary Macar and Diana Heneks.
