Enticement investigated

SAGLE — Bonner County Sheriff’s officials are investigating a report of an attempted child abduction or enticement at Round Lake on Wednesday.

The suspect in the incident is described as a white male with an approximate height of 5 feet, 8-10 inches weighing about 165 pounds. He had gray hair and a mustache and was accompanied by a white, short-haired dog with black markings on its head.

Sheriff’s officials said the suspect was seen observing children at play and later approached a young boy in an attempt to engage in conversation about his dog. When approached by a resident who lives nearby, the man fled the scene in a white, 1990s-era pickup truck.

The truck is described as a Toyota or Datsun with a white camper shell, The truck had Idaho license plates, although no numbers were provided.
