Charles Michael “Catch” Worster, 44, died Thursday, July 1, 2010, at his parents’ home in Kenai, Alaska.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 9, 2010, at Peninsula Memorial Chapel, 5839 Kenai Spur Highway, in Kenai.

Charles was born Dec. 13, 1965, to John and Clarissa Worster in Libby, Mont. He went to school in Clark Fork, Idaho.

Charles served in the U.S. Army from 1984-1986. He moved to Kenai in 1989.

Charles worked detailing cars and timber falling after the Army. He was the happiest when fishing, hunting and bowling.

The family wrote, “He was a lover of animals, especially his three dogs, Panda, Creep and Raven. Chuck was loved very much and will be missed greatly.”

He was preceded in death by his birth father, John Worster; his sister, Cindy Kitchen; and a nephew, Sgt James R. Worster.

He is survived by his mom and dad, Charles and Clarissa Conn of Kenai; sisters, Tina Hedrick of Arkansas, Donna Thornton of Fairbanks, Julie Van Osdel of Minnesota, Johnna Houglum of South Dakota, Shannon Williams of Anchorage, Kelly Clapp of Homer, Blossom Alexander of Soldotna, and Abbie McGahan of Soldotna; a brother, Scott Conn of Michigan; his daughter, Tiffany Judith Ellen Worster of Virginia; nieces and nephews, Anna, Joey, Michael, Jack, Josh, Joy, Jordan, Jenny, Misti, Casey, Tim, Cody, Damien, Tanner, Jaime, Kyle, Stanley, Katie, Sally, Anna, Stephanie, Stephen, Jacob, Charlie, Falon, Blossom and his great-nephews and great-nieces; and his aunts and uncles.

Arrangements are under the care of Peninsula Memorial Chapel.
