Kendon Perry participates in conference

Kendon Perry of Farm Bureau Financial Services in Ponderay recently attended the Million Dollar Round Table conference in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The conference is an invitation only event hosted by the MDRT — an international network comprised of the world’s leading insurance and financial professionals who represent the top 1 percent in the industry worldwide.

“It was an honor to be invited to attend this exclusive event,” said Perry who has worked in the insurance industry for the last 9 years and who last year earned his certification as a financial advisor.

In addition to qualifying for the MDRT conference, Perry was eligible for and attended the annual Farm Bureau Financial Services Super All-American conferences the last three years.

“To qualify as a Super All-American, agents and advisors must be in the top one percent in the company,” he said.

The MDRT Conference, which offered 40 different presentations on topics in both the life insurance and financial services industries, was also a chance for professionals to exchange thoughts, ideas and strategies that will maximize their clients’ financial success.

Perry is an active member of the community and his contributions include past president and current member of the Sandpoint Rotary, longtime and current coach of Sandpoint Little League and a volunteer Junior Achievement instructor.

“Many people think they do not have enough money to devote to either life insurance or other types of investments,” said Perry. “But we can work together and assist our clients with their budget to make sure their needs and those of their family’s are met. And in the current economic times that can provide a lot of peace of mind.”
