Paul Westfall, 86

Paul Westfall, 86, passed away at his home on Monday morning, June 1, 2010.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Paul was born in Burlington, Colo., on Feb. 26, 1924, the son of Harold and Carrie (Griffin) Westfall. The family moved to Bonner County, when Paul was a child, and established Westfall Farms on Gold Creek.  Paul attended local schools and married Lois McNall on Sept. 5, 1945 in Sandpoint, Idaho.

He operated a general farming operation on Gold Creek, also raising Hereford Cattle and Shorthorn crosses. He loved his family and his farm. He semi-retired in the early 1990s and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Paul is survived by six children, Phil (and Linda) Westfall, Kirk (and Debbie) Westfall, Connie (and Derek) Antonelli, Tracy (and Wally) Brown, Mitch (and Yolly) Westfall, and Drew (and Nadine) Westfall all of Sandpoint; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Glenn Westfall in Sandpoint. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Lois; three sisters Ruth, Jewell, and Maxine.
