Brixen's misinformation is regrettable

| June 2, 2010 9:00 PM

In a recent letter to the editor, Mr. Brixen quoted the president as saying “Look, it’s an all volunteer force. Nobody made these guys go to war. They had to have known and accepted the risks. Now they whine about bearing the cost of their choice”

Very regrettable words coming from the president indeed. Only problem is, he never said them. This has become so common it is barely worth commenting on, the amount of misinformation and outright lies about this president has gotten to the point of absurdity. So where lies the ignorance?

People really need to start using their brains again and stop vomiting up all the trash they hear because it fits their mental image of this president, which is mostly based on lies, misinformation and at best half truths. It doesn’t take a genius to call into question a quote as outrageous as this, and it only took about three minutes to find out it was bogus. A little more effort, please, Mr. Brixen.
