Sharon Irene Celius, 57, passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2010, in Ponderay, Idaho.

Viewing will be held today, Thursday, from 3-5 p.m. at the Lakeview Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 4, 2010, at the Sandpoint Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor John Stanton officiating.

Sharon was born on Dec. 1, 1952, in Sunnyside, Wash., to Clair and Marion Celius. She attended grade school in Federal Way, Wash., and graduated high school in Sunny-side.  She attended college while living in Granger and worked for Yakima Bait Co. She then moved to the coast to live with her sister, Jackie.

Years later, Sharon moved back to the Sunnyside area and eventually bought a house in Prosser, Wash., and then worked at Wal-Mart for several years. She then sold her house and moved to Sagle, Idaho, in 2006 to be closer to her sister, Patricia.

She is a member of the Sandpoint Seventh-day Adventist Church, where she just became deaconess. She enjoyed art and was good at oil painting, watercolor, and stained glass.

She is survived by her three sisters, Jacquelyn Roe of Enumclaw, Wash., Patricia (Len) Akkerman of Sagle, and Ruth (Brian) Litzenburg of Welches, Ore.; a brother, Gordon Celius of Toppenish, Wash.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clair and Marion.
