False claims taking advantage of disaster

I am not defending BP, but I would like the news to express the other side of the effort they are facing to reconcile their liability.

I can’t even imagine how many false claims are being filed as I write this note. I was hoping there would be some coverage of this when the insurance companies were involved in the Katrina disaster.

The lack of coverage is a tacit acceptance of the false claims filed. There is no longer any peer pressure or shame in being a liar and thief. And if necessary, these people get an attorney to do it for them.
