Young man - Kudos to the very nice young man who rushed over and helped to car when he saw me nearly fall outside the Gardenia Center on April 19. Ithought so nice of him to come to my aid and I really appreciated his kindness.
Amy - Kudos and many thanks to Amy from North Idaho Animal Hospital for reuniting my dog, Mitzy, with our family. Thank you very much.
Officer Chris - Kudos to “Officer Chris” for assigning me to take the driving course after I was pulled over recently. Instead of giving me a ticket, he assigned me to the class. Kudos to all for having his available. It was really good refresher course and I learned a lot.
09.June
Good Samaritans - More than kudos but appreciation that words can’t express: To the two Forest Service ranger officers who, on their last patrol, discovered our sister over the cliffs off the High Drive near Clark Fork; to the 12 Samowen Fire Department volunteers who just completed their EMT classes, which prepared them for this rescue operation and who worked diligently for hours in the wet, mud and darkness; the four EMT ambulance workers who provided the exit and service to get her to Sacred Heart; and a special thanks to the laborious hours by A-1 Towing. You’ve all been wonderful. This was a miracle in process. Thank you all.
Sledfest volunteers - Thank you to all the volunteers who helped with the second Schweitzer Sledfest. Your time and effort did not go unnoticed! Sandpoint Winter Riders Association.
Gold ‘N’ Grouse Club members - A special thank you to the Gold ‘N’ Grouse 4-H Club for all the work they did in cleaning up the Pack River Cemetery. They have faithfully done this for the last 18 years.
12.June
Lost in the ’50s flagging crew - Kudos to all Lost in the ’50s Friday Night Cruise flaggers, we love you and couldn’t do the parade without you.
13.June
Fundraiser sponsors - A huge thank you to Eichart’s, Diedre Cole, Kim Bruener, Susan Demko and all the wonderful parents who helped make the Sandpoint Lacrosse bake sale/barbecue fundraiser a success. Without all your help we could not have made this happen. Your time, energy and great ideas are much appreciated.
Thoughtful, kind woman - A huge thank-you to the woman who found my credit card in the Safeway parking lot and returned it to the store. Thoughtful, kind, honest people are one of the reasons my husband and I love living here.
