Charles R. 'Bud' Campbell, 82

Charles R. “Bud” Campbell, 82, of Simpsonville, S.C., loving husband of Maxine Campbell, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 31, 2010.

He was a member of Morningside Baptist Church, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and owner/operator of Bud’s Burger Barn in Sandpoint, Idaho, for 17 years.

He leaves behind his children, Dennis R. Campbell and his wife, Cindy, of Greer, S.C.,; and Jennifer L. Piatt and her husband, Terry, of Elkton, Md. He also is survived by his brothers, John of Boise, Idaho, and James of Havre, Mont.; his sister, Kate Raynor of Sandpoint; and his grandchildren, Paul, Amy, Renee, Chris, Rebekah and Caleb.

The family received friends at Morningside Baptist Church, 1115 Phelam Road in Greenville on Friday, June 4, 2010, from noon to 1:45 p.m. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in Cannon Memorial Park.

Memorial donations in his memory may be made to the Morningside Baptist Church Mission Fund.
