Marjorie Pauline Listug, 79, passed away in Sandpoint, Idaho, on Saturday evening, June 26, 2010.

Marjorie was born in Priest River, Idaho, on July 23, the daughter of James and Pauline Lamanna.

She attended school in Priest River and graduated from the eighth grade. She moved to Spokane and married George Listug on Sept. 3, 1949, in Newport, Wash.

She moved to Indepen-dence, Ore., in 1960 and worked as a nurse’s aide.

In 1995 the family moved to Hope, Idaho.

She enjoyed going to dances and her flowers.

She is survived by her husband, of 60 years, George Listug of Hope; three children, Nancy (Oscar) Mabry of Monmouth, ore., Georgia Kahl of Albany, Ore., and George Listug Jr. of Ft. Worth, Texas; and six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Paula.

Family services, and inurnment, will be later in Jefferson, Ore.
