Bill's goal is to gain access to our money

| March 13, 2010 8:00 PM

The Democrats have been trying to run this health care government intrusion down our throats for nearly a year now. What part of “no we don’t want it” can they not understand.

Smooth-talking Obama passionately calls for help for the uninsured needy. But beware of the wolf in sheep’s clothing. This bill mandates employee coverage for small business owners, rationing of care to seniors, and  boils down to an enormous federal power grab and creation of the largest bureaucracy ever conceived. The figures on the cost are forever changing and I don’t trust the administration on the deficit projections. The power over our lives, including federal access to our personal records and bank accounts, is frightening.

Anyone who supports this bill of goods is either uninformed or wants to see America deteriorate into a Euro-Venezuelan modeled society where its citizens are federal subjects. Wake up and kill this bill, start over and get it right; this one misses the mark. Why can’t the Congress hear the people after 10 months of non-stop debate. This bill is not about helping the needy, but about big government getting bigger and  hungrier for our hard-earned money.
