Families deserve income tax deduction

As a homeschooled high school student, I am writing this letter to bring your attention to H.R. 2605 sponsored by Pete Hoekstra.
Currently homeschoolers are paying taxes to public schools, as well as paying for their own expensive curriculum. Even though homeschools are schools, they do not receive any share of the tax money that they have paid in the system.
This could be fixed by giving a tax deduction to homeschoolers on their income taxes, which is what H.R. 2605 proposes. It is unfair that homeschoolers must pay twice without any tax deduction. I encourage you to do the right and just thing by contacting your legislators to support this bill.
Thank you for your time and cooperation.
