Things were busy at Bonner General Hospital in 2009!

As a small community hospital, Bonner General has always been known for providing personalized care, and our staff takes pride in the fact that we don’t treat our patients as statistics.

Nonetheless, the numbers are a keen reminder of the important role that everyone at the hospital plays in helping to meet our community’s health needs.

Here are a few interesting statistics from 2009:

• We admitted 2,423 in-patients

• Our patients stayed a total of 6,502 days

• We saw 57,753 outpatients

• The Matern-ity Unit delivered 345 babies

• The Emergency Department had 8,760 patient visits

• Our Surgical Services department performed 5,537 surgical procedures

• The Diagnostic Imaging department performed 37,141 imaging studies

• Home Health & Hospice made approximately 10,891 visits to patients in their homes

• Priest River Medical Clinic had 6,650 patient visits

• Bonner General Immediate Care had 5,839 patient visits

• The Cancer Center had a total of 6,142 patient visits

We are proud to be your not-for-profit, community hospital.

Our goal for 2010 is to continue to expand and strengthen the hospital’s programs and services and to ensure that we always provide the very best in healthcare to our residents!
