Shirley R. Clark, 81

Shirley R. Clark, 81, passed away March 11, 2010, in Spokane, Wash.

Shirley was born and raised in Sandpoint, Idaho.

She married Weston A. Clark in May 1946 and, for the next two years, moved from job site to job site as he was a millwright until moving to Spokane in1952.

Shirley attended Spokane Community College when she was in her late 50s. She was an avid reader and enjoyed camping but her main enjoyment came from being near her children and grandchildren.

Shirley is survived by her five children, Luwana Arington of Spokane, David Clark (Carolyn) of Ford, Wash., Weston A. Clark (Patricia) of Spokane Valley, Wash., Marie A. Putman (Paul) of Tensed, Idaho, and Allison Moate (Terry) of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. There are 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Weston A. Clark.

Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at the Pinecrest Cemetery in Sandpoint.

 Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home, 1306 N. Monroe, is in charge of arrangements.
