Imagine what Lions could have done with BID money

The only reason the business improvement district passed 10 years ago was we were not told that  if passed you will pay every month or you will get taken to court and sued.

I have worked in downtown Sandpoint for 49 years and you’re dreaming if you think people are coming to Sandpoint spending money because of your improvements. Think what could have been done if the Lions Club had been given $900,000. They built City Beach, put on the Fourth of July parade and the fireworks show, Toys for Tots and numerous other things without any taxes or “pay or you’ll be sued.”
