Every resident should exercise right to vote

| May 5, 2010 9:00 PM

Everyone should exercise their right, privilege and duty for choosing the leaders in our local, state and federal government. However, please be an informed and knowledgeable  voter.

When you learn of events where candidates will be speaking, choose to attend and ask questions of the candidates.

Please don’t base your decision on only that they are an incumbent or by the number and size of signs you see posted near the roadways.

It’s such a good feeling when you go to the polls to vote and select a candidate that you have become acquainted with on various issues.

The primary election is May 25. In some cases, the final decision will be made on that date.

Get out and vote and God bless America.
