Clemons is best choice for assessor
Jerry Clemons and I served on the Kinderhaven board together. We have on many projects over the years, each an unqualified success. The last was the grand opening of The Children’s Garden dedicated to Hazel Hall. Jerry happily donned our wizard costume and gave it everything he had. Why? First, he adored Hazel Hall, and second, if it benefited children, he didn’t hesitate.
I still remember when Jerry, his wife Patti and I sat on Kinderhaven’s front stoop with a baby who had been tortured. The little guy had not smiled or shown any emotion for days. After a simple game of peek-a-boo, the baby was smiling and giggling; and, to our surprise, he reached up to Jerry, wanting to be held.
Jerry is honest, and though you may not always agree with his decisions, rest assured that they are fair and based on a wealth of experience.
