Clemons is hands-on, hard-working assessor

Jerry Clemons has been a hard-working, hard-thinking and hands-on Bonner County Assessor. We need to keep him in that office. According to some employees of the Assessor’s office, Mr. Clemons walked in the door to “chaos.” There was a need to restructure the office and Jerry is “good at identifying needs” and “implementing solutions.”

Jerry Clemons is respected by the folks that he works with in Boise. We made a phone call to the Idaho Tax Commission and, while we were told that these folks cannot take a position, the person I spoke with said that they have “enjoyed working with Jerry and that there were “no compliance issues” currently with the Bonner County assessor. There were “some problems” prior to his taking office.

We are not ready to go backward; we don’t care to have more problems.

We, the voters of Bonner County need to make sure we keep our current assessor in office.
