Cheryl Piehl is natural choice for treasurer

I worked with Cheryl in an accounting firm prior to her working for the county. She was conscientious, fast learning, team player, tackler of any task, caring, honest, reliable, and a cautious spender.
Mr. Maras, her opponent, mentioned the county’s budget increase, not how he would reduce it. This is not a function of the treasurer’s position. The treasurer verifies her department expenses (a very small portion of the county budget).
Cheryl is a local person who knows our area and the people, with years of training and actual service in the Treasurer’s office. If this was not an elected position, she would simply keep the job she has been doing so well., without an election.
