Delores Marie Phillips, 84

Delores Marie Phillips, 84, of Post Falls, Idaho, died Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at Life Care Center. 

Private family services will be held at a later time.

She was born Dec. 30, 1925 in Fingal, North Dakota, the daughter of Fred and Stephanie Kruger.

She graduated from high school in Bremerton, Wash., and worked there in the shipyards during World War II. 

She married Robert L. Phillips on Nov. 20, 1945 in Los Angeles, Calif. They made their home there until 1955 when they moved to the San Fernando Valley, Calif.

They later moved to Santa Maria, Calif., in 1988.

Following the death of her husband she moved to Post Falls in 2004.

Delores enjoyed reading, traveling, gardening and dancing.

She is survived by two children, Jan (Richard) Shellhart of Cocolalla and Jeffrey (Janet) Phillips of Bothell, Wash.; one grandson, Griffin Phillips of Bothell; and by a brother, Allen Kruger. She was preceded in death by a brother, Wallace.
