Florence Ida Ragland, 79

Florence Ida Ragland, 79, of Sandpoint, Idaho, died Saturday, May 22, 2010, at her home. 

Graveside services will be conducted at 4 p.m. on Monday at Pack River Cemetery.

She was born April 1, 1931, in Weatherford, Texas. She grew up in Texas, Utah and California.

She married Frederick Ragland in 1965 in El Cajon, Calif. Forence spent the majority of her adult life in California but following her husband’s death she moved to Arkansas to be near her sisters.

In 2000 she moved to Sandpoint to be near her son.

Florence enjoyed raising horses and gardening. She was a member of the Baha’I Faith.

She is survived by her son, Ray Mortensen II of Sandpoint; and two sisters, Mary Femmer and Margaret Gomez in Arkansas. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and two sisters.
