John Peter Domino, 67

John Peter Domino, 67, passed away peacefully at home in Cocolalla, Idaho, with his family by his side on Friday, May 21, 2010, after a short battle with cancer. 

John was born on Nov. 11, 1942, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. 

John is survived by his loving wife, Suzanne; his sons, Kirk (Lesley) on Nanaimo, British Columbia; Adam of St. Petersburg, Fla.; his daughters, Lara Strachan (Gary) of Victoria, British Columbia; and Jessica of Cheney, Wash.; four grandchildren, Randall, Jarod, Jillian, and Kalum;  his mother, Faye; a sister, Betty Aller (Mike); an aunt, Margie of Windsor, Ontario; and extended family.

John is predeceased by his father, John; and mother-in-law, Kay.

John was a transport driver for most of his life working all over North America.

He and Suzanne enjoyed many adventures raising their children in different cities.

John’s last job was at Litehouse Dressing in Sandpoint, Idaho, where he worked with wonderful people and made several good friends.

He and Suzanne settled onto their farm enjoying semi-retirement.

John always enjoyed working around the place with his grandchildren when they came to visit.

The family wishes to thank all the health care professionals who supported John and Suzanne during the last few months. 

At John’s request cremation is at Coffelt Funeral Service and an open house, to celebrate John’s life, will be held for family and friends, Sunday June 6, 2010, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at their home; 2606 Fishcreek Road, Cocolalla, Idaho.
