Carolyn and crew did another fabulous job

| May 27, 2010 9:00 PM

For the 25th year, Carolyn Gleason and her dedicated crew of community volunteers have put together another extremely successful Lost in the ‘50s. This annual event profoundly benefits hundreds (yes, hundreds) of area organizations, businesses and individuals where it counts — the financial bottom line.

From non-profits — churches, Wishing Star, the high school booster club to restaurants, hotels and retail stores just to name a few …  everyone in this community benefits.

However, this event doesn’t come free and is quite expensive when it comes to paying for the entertainment, security, trophies, traffic control, permits, signage, etc.

To all the sponsors and volunteers who have stepped up to help support this event for the entire community: You are awesome. Thank you so much.

For those of you who have not taken the opportunity to contribute, please get in touch with Carolyn to see what you can to do help out — not only to close the books on this year, but to ensure that we will have another successful, fun-filled, profitable event for the entire community next year.

To Carolyn and her crew: Thank you, we had a blast. You’re fabulous. We love you and keep on rockin’!
