No such thing as reciprocity in Islam

| November 7, 2010 6:00 AM

Religious facilities in the United States, by law, are supposed to be financed and built by individuals, not the government. Mosques are said to be planned not only near ground zero but also throughout the country. If these religious facilities are financed by foreign money, then the question is: Can a foreign government, under the guise of religious freedom, accomplish what our own government is forbidden to do?

Many people have been killed trying to establish Christian churches in predominately Muslim countries. There is no reciprocity with Islam. The statement that Muslims do not kill innocent people is one of semantics. If you are not a Muslim, you are an infidel and, therefore, not an innocent person. It can be said that Muslims have freedom of religion and freedom of speech. They are free to embrace Islam, free to burn the U.S. flag and free to criticize the United States. God help those with the audacity to criticize Islam. The death threats soon start flying. There is no reciprocity with Islam.

Mohammed declared that anyone who got killed fighting for his cause would get a quick trip to heaven. There is just a small step from this idea to that of the suicide bomber. The Islamists know that this is a cheap way to wage war. They don’t need to buy expensive equipment like tanks or lanes and they can trade the life of one bomber, who goes straight to heaven, for the lives of several hundred infidels. That is a good bargain for them. If the present trend continues, and the Americans don’t wake up, we can expect more mega-disasters in this country and we probably won’t have to go overseas to fight suicide bombers. We will fight them here in our own country.
