Time has come to end daylight saving time

I have talked to quite a few people about Daylight Saving time and all agree Sandpoint and Bonners Ferry would like it to remain the way it is now and not change. In northern Idaho, I live alone and it gets dark so early and it makes the evening so long, it’s hard to take.

The school bus comes by in total darkness. They children go to sleep on the bus and I am sure that they are very groggy in school that early in the morning.

It would be better to get off of the bus in the evening. I am sure there are other reasons than I have listed here. Let’s stop Daylight Saving Time. Let’s take a poll and vote “yes” or “no” and see which would carry. Rep. George Eskridge said it would be interesting to see how it would turn out.
