A tax on the rich ends as a tax on everyone

Another reason I’m a stanch conservative:

The conservatives and libertarians don’t want to raise the tax on anyone. Liberals want to raise it on the “rich guys” (meaning “not me” in most cases).

The problem is, congress in both the Bush and more in Obama administration have spent this country into trillions of dollars of debt. The only way of decreasing that debt is to massively inflate the dollar in the future. This is almost bound to happen.

When liberals in Congress enact their “tax the rich” policies, there will probably be no “cost of living” or “inflation index” built in. So in a few years, as the almost certain inflation conflagration occurs, everyone will be paying massively higher taxers. This happened with the alternative minimum tax, (again proposed as only hitting the rich) and will happen again. In the beginning, income taxes were promised to only affect the rich.
