American people were the biggest winners

| November 11, 2010 6:00 AM

Jubilant Republicans, supported in large part by the Tea Party movement, have worked hard and deserve their day. Clearly the biggest winner on Nov. 2, however, was the American people. They have demonstrated that no matter what party is in power that they will be heard and their voice can reshape Washington and influence the state levels as well.

I have spent the last two years watching the high-jacking of the American political landscape by an overreaching far left majority’s agenda that threatened the economic and fiscal stability of our country for decades to come. If not for Fox News and its revealing and balanced reporting on all issues, they would have succeeded as the mainstream media has been in the left’s bag since the Democrats took Congress in 2006. Fox is to be congratulated.

One can only hope Obama will change course to represent the American people, what he was elected to do, and abandon his tyrannical force fed liberal policy, clearly rejected by the voters on election day. The message was quite clear, listen up or you will be replaced by someone who does. We need a leader who listens; I already have a mother.
